Planned and designed by Meredith Rebolledo Interior Design, Okaeri Calistoga is a seven-room boutique bed and breakfast in the heart of Napa Valley, set within a thoughtfully restored 1875 Victorian mansion. Opening in 2025—marking the 150th anniversary of the original home—this luxury inn blends Meiji-era influences with a modern Japanese aesthetic, to create a design-led, immersive retreat.
Okaeri—Japanese for “welcome home”—translates here into both a sanctuary and a hospitality philosophy. Every element was custom-designed in collaboration with a team of Bay Area artisans and artists. From the koi pond anchoring the dining room to guest rooms inspired by the founder’s Kanpai Wines collection, interiors feature trees and plants in every room, handcrafted furniture, original artwork, and locally sourced materials—including Heath Ceramics dinnerware and Cento Coffee’s exclusive roast for Okaeri. Traditional Japanese soaking tubs, in-room tatami tea areas, and custom pourover coffee stations elevate the everyday with rituals of comfort and care.
More than a boutique hotel, Okaeri Calistoga is a refined expression of design-driven hospitality—where restored architecture, intentional interiors, and local craftsmanship come together to offer a deeply personal Napa Valley escape.
